Persecution of employees of the German-American Petroleum Company for political reasons. Deprivation of liberty of Wilhelm Lausberg through arrest by the SA on 7 May 1933, followed by five weeks in police custody. Renewed deprivation of liberty and severe mistreatment of Wilhelm Lausberg in June 1933, including beatings with rubber truncheons, kicks and punches by SS men, with lasting damage until after the end of the war. Deprivation of liberty and mistreatment of Matthias Hochstein on 27 June 1933 with rubber truncheon blows and pistol threats, forced resignation from his job.
