3. Access data and server log files

Our hosting provider automatically collects data with every access to our website and stores it in so-called server log files:

  • IP address (anonymised where technically possible)

You can change your cookie settings at any time via our consent-management tool. Please note that disabling cookies may restrict the functionality of the website.

5. Embedded third-party services

Our website embeds third-party content and services (e.g. YouTube videos, Google Maps, social-media plug-ins). Personal data such as your IP address may be transmitted to these providers.

  • Google Analytics 4: we use Google Analytics to analyse website use. Your data is anonymised before processing. Further information: Google Privacy Policy.
  • YouTube and social-media plug-ins: these services may collect data such as your IP address. For details, please consult the providers' privacy notices.

Contact form

When you use the contact form on this website, the data you provide (name, email address, subject, message) is used solely to process your enquiry. Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. The data is sent by email to info@nazicrimesatlas.org and stored in the association's regular email inbox. It is not shared with third parties.

To prevent automated spam, the form uses a simple arithmetic question and a hidden form field („honeypot"). Both are used solely for technical validation. No personal data is transmitted to third parties, and no tracking services are involved.

When submitting the form, your IP address is temporarily logged in the email message. It is used only for traceability in case of misuse and is not processed further.

Embedded videos (Vimeo)

On the homepage and the documentation page we embed videos by Vimeo (Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA). We use the Vimeo player in privacy-friendly mode („Do Not Track"), which does not set tracking cookies. When you open the pages a connection is established to Vimeo's servers to load the player.
